Unwell

gah_window

Day was ending but evening was not ready, yet. Moon was halfway into the sky; trying to showoff her punctuality.

Staring through the window, he felt dark thoughts were returning. “Something hiding up in the hill! He ordered all to be home early; it is not safe out there.”

They laugh and ignore him claiming “dad is not well”.

tring, tring, tring tring,” his son on the other end of phone, “dad get ready, today is uncles birthday. I shall pick you up in 10 min.”

I am going nowhere. Today is unsafe.” He went back looking at the mountain.

  1. Dad knows something his kids don’t. Isn’t it always like that? Older people’s experience is dismissed by the young ones who always think they know better. I remember having been like that, too. Good story.

    1. That are called lunatics. Our man was afraid of mountain. It’s dark appearance, it’s giant features, scared him. He did not know what the mountain was hiding.
