Wall Clock

The designer wall clock appeared to be a misfit in the small living room of Raja sahib.

The exquisitely designed clock was acquired at a time, when the royal fortune was on the wane. Royal palace was rented out to a hotel group. Family heirlooms were being sold, discreetly, to maintain royal lifestyle.

The clock reminded Raja sahib of days that have gone past him. Only family item, this clock, he could not sell, because Chandni was fascinated by the drummer that would emerge every hour on the hour.

A girl, he had once loved and then shot dead.

    1. Kings and nawabs used to do a lot of things in their suzerainty. Our Raja love someone. She liked somebody else. He found them together. Killed them. Now it does not want to get rid of her memory.
