Water Front

Dad where are we going?”

To the harborfront for a boat ride.”

He was on a family holiday in Baltimore. They were to board the cruise ship, BIG RED BOAT, for a guided trip around the Baltimore harbor and beyond.

Standing on the port side of the ship, he realized memory of another evening was still fresh in his mind.

Tonight, we are going to have fun. We shall cruise the harbor, eat, drink and party.”

Jassi said as she drove him to harbor front for his farewell party. He was to return home in a week’s time, after a long stay at the University of Baltimore.

He remembered carefree student days, stormy relationships and wild parties. Everything is just a memory, nothing more. Looking at reflection of harbor front light on water, he realized on the canvas of time only actors have changed, life is going on as before.
