Come for a ride once, I shall explain everything.”

Today, as Freddie gently ushered Maria in, he dissuaded Maria’s mother, Susie, “not now, another time.”

Susie never liked Freddie. Of so many good boys, Maria chose this upstart.

No one can beat fate, can she?” thought Susie sulking, “I am sure Freddie is upto something fishy.

As a regular to god’s abode, Susie it seemed had a direct connection, and this morning her plea was heard.

Within fifteen minutes into the water, the old engine sputtered and died. Embarrassed and upset Freddie took out oars to paddle them to safety when he heard Susie screaming,

police, police, Freddie is trying to kill my daughter. Look he has taken out sticks to beat her.”
