A Special Day #FFfAW

Hari babu every year on this day you distribute so much snacks among neighborhood children!” the shop owner asked, “may I know why?”

This day reminds me of a boy looking at your shop, many years ago. Oldest of  siblings, it was his responsibility to take something home for rest of the family to eat. He had no money, no job.”

Son, looks like you are hungry, eat something,”

used to hearing cruel words, the sudden kind words surprised the boy, tears flew from his eyes

don’t cry my son. I shall teach you how to survive this world.”

That young boy is me. Hariram from impoverished family, is addressed as Hari babu. I run a business and earn enough to support my family. All because one kind soul fed me, taught me and sent me to school.

Come what may, I can never forget the day I met my god.
