“Wise men say life moves in a cycle,” the man thought looking at the slow moving giant wheel decorated with neon signs.
“Dad I also want to ride the wheel,” said young boy, “I want to see the city from the above.” Family, enjoying an evening out, bought tickets for a ride on the wheel for a view of vast expanse beyond the city limits.
“Can’t it stay on top longer dad?” asked the kid.
“Kind of like our lives son,” father answered “slowly we struggle up, only to fall down. Hardly, anyone stay on top much longer.”

The father was lost in his own thoughts when he spoke to his son. He might have remembered that the way down is different from the way up – you have memories to sustain you and knowledge and experience to guide you.

That’s very wise, and I love how you close the circle in your story from the beginning with the circle of life to the end with… the circle of life. 🙂

A nice take on the prompt. At least with the wheel, the fall is not so abrupt…
