“This is where I must live,”he thought looking admiringly at the house, “ with all my family under a single roof.”

He saw himself playing hide and seek with grand kids and enjoying morning and evening tea at his verandah on the sea.

 “Dad it is too far away,” first sign of resistance came from his son, “kids have school, we have work.”

“Ok son,” your mom and me will live here, “visit us on weekends!”

“Mom will live with us.”

“Family life is not for me,” he realised his maverick past was certainly catching up with him.

    1. It is not only a building but relation between people that live within. Somehow, relation is not very great in this family. Thank you for reading.

      1. Though, it seems to me (as a reader) that he still has a choice: to follow his own dreams, or to stand with his family. His dream may be selfish; the choices they make seem based on reality, not a desire to set him back.
