Wise Man #BlogchatterA2Z

Unknown

Khurana was looking at the bright sunny day and deep blue ocean from his hotel room window. He could see a young man hugging his girl friend on the roof top of  adjacent house.

Something in the air, that arouses love and passion in people”, he thought.

Inside, atmosphere was frosty. Mrs. Sharma was still sulking from unexpected checkout from the five star hotel, an all expense paid holiday package.

What an inauspicious moment when I agreed to marry this man! All my life I ran household with a shoe string budget; once good fortune smiled and this sanctimonious prick of a man walked out!”

Sharma knew his wife was furious. But he had his scruples and could not compromise what he learnt from his father in his childhood, “son live within your means.” Today, he could not live such a life of extravagance, even it for a few days.

  2. Such a contrast isn’t it between the have’s and the have not’s. It speaks on so many levels – from the luxury being a commonplace event to the wonder of whether than luxury would make someone happy. I liked the display of this contrast and keen to know what happens next 🙂
