Moving Out #FridayFictioneer


The sound of shuffling feet from the floor above had rattled Nirmala. “The floor above is empty,” she wondered and asked Bhola to phone Nikhil, “am I losing my mind?”

Unusual occurances at regular interval had shaken Nirmala. Unable to stay inside, Nirmala came out and stood near the front gate. Witnessing the unsual scene, of a group of people pushing a wheel chair bound man by forming a human chain, cheered Nirmala up a bit.

Nirmala hugged her husband tight, as Nikhil returned, and whispered, “lets move out of this place, before any more damage is done.”
